Goodies used in my sessions

INCENSE
: Each session is prepared with great pride and thought. I only use the finest herbs, berries, barks, roots, essential oils and resins with NO FILLERS of any kind when I use incense, no fragrance oils, artificial colorings or chemicals of any kind in my blends.

My incense has been created for balancing the CHAKRAS. The incense blends are perfect for any and all Chakra issues, for balancing and meditation work, and especially for cleansing and clearing the aura. I also raise the appropriate energy and empower these blends when creating them, and give Reiki energy to those that are appropriate.

TANTRA ESSENTIAL OILS: I usually use a Jojoba oil base, combined with Grape seed oil, Lavender and Eucalyptus as they are rich in Vitamin E, have astringent qualities, offer a light satin finish, are relaxing and rejuvenating:

Jojoba Oil - An excellent carrier oil with a pleasant, soft odor, and is rich in vitamin E. I bet you did not know that Jojoba may go 'cloudy' in a cool temperature, but returns to its clear state with warming.
Lavender - Relieves tension.
Eucalyptus - Quite uplifting for mental and physical exhaustion.

Items sometimes used in Tantra Spa Treatments

Warm Salt Polish
Hydro-active mineral salts are a blend of sea kelp, enzymes, and essential oils. These are combined with a warm Tantra oil and provide an exfoliating body polish. It is gently rubbed onto the skin (can be mixed with water). The salts are then removed with hot towels. The client rinses off excess in the shower. A light Tantra Touch combined with Essential Body Rub is then done with a body cream plus a body booster for detoxification. Not to be used if allergic to seafood or if client is an Accutane user. (Accutane is a powerful drug used for acne).

Enzymatic Sea Mud
A mixture of seaweed and plant enzymes with a mineral rich base. Slimming and detoxifying, it smoothes and revitalizes skin. Not to be used if allergic to seafood. The mud is mixed and applied. Client is wrapped in film and left to bake. Mud is then removed with hot towels, and client showers to remove excess. A Light Tantra Touch combined with Body Rub with body lotion and either a body booster or treatment oil follows.

Hydroxy Exfoliation
Hydroxy acid (a topical exfoliant) complex with aloe and green tea is used to exfoliate and smooth the texture of the skin. It is blended with anti-inflammatory essential oils. A mixture of Hydro Pack and Hydroxy Acid Booster follows a basic salt scrub. I apply and wrap the client until full Bake is determined. I then remove the excess with warm towels. An essential body rub with hydrating cream follows.

The essential oils listed below have proven effects on the body:

Grape Seed Oil - One of the lightest carrier oils available with a light, satiny finish. It also has some astringent qualities and is good for oily, acne prone skin.
Emu Oil - Very healing...provides essential fatty acids which are important to oxygen transfer, hemoglobin production and the control of nutrients through cell membranes. Emu oil also helps relieve arthritis, muscle/joint pain, psoriasis/eczema, burns/sunburns, cuts, abrasions and insect bites. Emu oil matches that of human skin, allowing the substance to penetrate deep in the layers of the epidermis, carrying with it natural anti-inflammatory and healing properties. I like using this because according to the most recent research, Emu oil is anti-bacterial, anti-microbial and of course, like all products I use, is hypo-allergenic.

I use all of the above oils in Body Rub and Tantra as the nasal cavity responds to particular aromas. These aromas trigger a variety of chemicals. Because the olfactory nerves are a direct extension of the brains limbic system, reaction to smell is relayed immediately. This is why aromatherapy is so important. Any product I use is all natural...best of all, there are NO side effects.

Additional herbs for the bath: ( For healing purposes, stress relieve & muscle spasms):
Rosemary, Red Rose Petal, Peppermint, Nettle, Myrrh Resin, Eucalyptus, Spearmint, Lemon Grass and Helmet Flower.

What is Hot Stone Therapy and its Advantages?

Hot Stone Therapy is a Native American Treatment has many advantages...if done properly, it is some of the finest bodywork on the planet! I use stones of varying temperatures, sizes and shapes in placements under and on top of my clients. The heat from the warm stones penetrates deeply to help loosen and sooth tightened, congested muscles. I have found that the stones and the temperature extremes do most of the heavier work for them.

  • It relaxes while it rejuvenates
  • Soothes and decongest's the body
  • Dexifies physically and energetically
  • Tonifies and enhances tissue repair
  • Leaves you feeling grounded, balanced and revitalized
  • Is the ultimate for Body, Mind and Soul
  • Helps with poor circulation and the relief of arthritic pain
  • Induces day dreaming deep relaxation, similar to acupuncture

I USE NATURAL BASALT STONES - POLISHED BY NATURE IN THE PACIFIC OCEAN TO A SMOOTH TEXTURE. THESE BASALT ROCKS ARE 100% NATURAL, NOT CHEMICALLY POLISHED OR ENHANCED. WHEN DRY, THEY HAVE A GRAYISH APPEARANCE. WHEN WET, THEY ARE JET BLACK. THEY ARE VERY POROUS WHICH ALLOWS THEM TO REACH HOT AND COLD TEMPERATURES QUICKLY. THE STONES ARE IRREGULAR IN SHAPE & THICKNESS.

WHEN HEATED IN A PROFESSIONAL 6 OR 18 QUART HEATER WITH WATER, ALONG WITH AROMATHERAPY OILS SUCH AS LAVENDER AND ROSEMARY, THE FEELING IS SIMPLY INCREDIBLE.

What is Tantra and Tantric Buddhism?

Meditation is the act of thinking deeply and at length. Most meditation consists of exercises intended to create a state of peace and relaxation, heightened awareness, or spiritual purification. Much meditation is part of a religious practice, and most major religions have various systems of meditation.

In some religions, the individual meditates through the repetition of a specific sound, word or text. For example, Hindus and Buddhists meditate by repeating a sound or verse called a "Mantra." Mantra texts may be enclosed in a metal cylinder called a prayer wheel. Each turn of the wheel symbolically releases a mantra.

Some meditation involves focusing on a certain visual image. In Tantra, the individual concentrates on a sacred diagram of the universe called a Mandela.

Objects or physical actions may enhance meditation. Some religions may meditate while reciting and counting prayers. A Hindu system of meditation called 'yoga' involves special sitting positions, breathing control and other physical disciplines.

Meditation resembles a spiritual activity called 'contemplation.' However contemplation seeks a mystical experience rather than relaxation or awareness.
